Shipping & Returns

CARRIAGE

Carriage charges are displayed at the checkout when placing your order. The charges are based upon the size, weight, number of items and delivery method. Basic charges are from £5+VAT for small postal items and from £15+Vat for items such as portables and other item requiring insured courier delivery. When selecting your carriage or payment method, if either is entered incorrectly or if the standard carriage cost will be exceeded, then we will notify customers prior to processing their order.

Carriage charges are shown and added to your bill at the checkout. These charges are based upon the size, weight, number of items and delivery method. Superior Saddlery reserve the right to amend these charges should any extra costs be incurred. Customers will, however, always be notified by email or telephone prior to any extra charge being levied and goods being dispatched that are liable to an overcharge on the stated carriage costs. Goods are dispatched by 1st Class Post or overnight courier and should be delivered within two working days from receipt of cleared funds, or credit card authorisation. Superior Saddlery accept no responsibility in the event that the Courier or Postal Service is at fault for delayed delivery or holdups once the goods have been dispatched from our warehouse.

RETURNS

Items may be returned for any reason. Returned items must be returned carriage paid within 7 days and upon notification from us that it is OK to send the goods. They must be complete, unused and in the exactly the same condition as when originally shipped. Goods that are used or are not in their original packaging will be accepted back only at the discretion of Superior Saddlery and subject to agreement on the value to be allowed. In any event, customers must obtain an RMA number from Superior Saddlery prior to returning goods for whatever reason.

Where goods have been returned in a used or opened condition a minimum 20% restocking fee will apply. The final decision as to value and acceptability will rest with Superior Saddlery.

All goods sold via Mail Order are sold in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

RETURN OF FAULTY GOODS

Should any goods develop a fault within the first 7 days of purchase; Superior Saddlery will collect, or arrange return of the goods. Superior Saddlery will then repair or replace the goods after receipt and testing of the defective item/s. Advance replacements will not normally be issued. Should the returned defective item not be defective when tested then a fee of £5+VAT will be charged to cover carriage and labour costs. This does not affect your statutory rights. This fee will be payable prior to the goods being shipped back to the customer.

REPORTING A FAULT

To report a fault or wrong delivery customers may e-mail our Customer Services department info@superiorsaddlery.co.uk or call Our Customers Services on +44-(0)-1834-844101 (9AM-5PM GMT Monday-Friday)

Customers will then be issued with an RMA number. Please ensure that the RMA number is clearly marked on the outer box. Returned items should be sent together with a copy of your proof of purchase i.e. invoice e-mailed to you when you placed the order for the goods and a letter stating the exact fault with the item, to our warehouse, at the address on your invoice. It is the customer’s responsibility that goods are returned in the condition they were sold in, Superior Saddlery accepts no liability for goods damaged or lost in transit goods. We regret our Returns Department cannot accept any goods returned without a valid RMA. Only the fault described on the RMA will be repaired under warranty. Goods will only be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Superior Saddlery Please return all goods complete in their original packaging with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the packaging. We aim to repair goods within 5 to 10 days however some repairs may take up to 28 days.

The warranty does not apply to items which are subject to wear & tear or damage.

Unless goods sold are supplied with a manufacturers international warranty any warranties supplied by Superior Saddlery do not apply outside mainland UK.
